March 2nd, 2010 marks the day that the “other” war FPS game Battlefield: Bad Company 2 hits store and has been dubbed to be this year’s best Online Multiplayer Game (very bold statement).
For Xbox 360 owners the free demo is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace while the PC beta is also now available to players that pre-order the game at participating retailers in North America, Europe and Asia, and through select community channels. On February 4th, the demo will be accessible on the PlayStation Network in Europe and on February 11th in North America.
In the demo players will experience Port Valdez, a new vehicle focused map where up to 24 players (32 on PC) will compete against each other as either the US or Russian armies in the game’s Rush multiplayer mode. On the Russian side the players will be able to test out all that is in their collection. Battle Tanks, Quad Bikes, and Mobile Armored AA are a few of the vehicles that you will have in your arsenal as a Russian. Only five land vehicles and 3 air vehicles will be available for those of you interested fighting for the U.S.
Sandbox environments, big variety of weapons, pure destruction of anything in your path, and intense vehicular battle has this game looking like a must buy.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be in stores on March 2, 2010 in North America and March 4, 2010 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC. The Limited Edition can be pre-ordered now on all platforms at no extra cost, with participating retailers worldwide (while supplies last).
