Disney Interactive Studios has just released the new title Disney Sing It: Pop Hits for the Wii, PS2 and PS3. The game features songs from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, Demi Lovato, Hannah Montana, Jesse McCartney, Coldplay and One Republic. Basically all of the stuff your children or younger brothers and sisters would hear on Radio Disney.
It would seem that the game also might feature girl groups you have never heard of from across the pond. Girl Groups like Suzanne Shaw used to be in. She was in a group called Heresay and she was also the star of Dancing on Ice. Whether she is in the game or not I can neither confirm or deny, but here is what I do know…

Now, we here at Spawnio.com are for the most part O.K. with the decision to use Ms. Shaw, but was that a good decision to have her out promoting a game directed at young kids? Disney seems to have a little trouble picking young ladies out to represent them. Miley Cyrus has had semi naughty, non-nude pictures leaked on the internet and “What’s her face” from High School Musical has seen her naked cell phone pictures meant for her boyfriend “What’s his face” leaked over the internet twice.
It would seem that Suzanne Shaw is also a part time lingerie model, and that is fine, really. However Disney should be careful in my opinion.

Suzanne Shaw is a very well known figure in England and has very much the squeky clean image. Yes she has done a lingerie shoot but this was classy and because she was the face and body of ultimo for a high street department store not some gentlemans magazine. She’s known in the Uk as being very respectable and as a devoted wife, mother and very talented singer and actress.
She has won celebrity mother of the year in england and wrote a weekly column for mothers in a very popular english weekly magazine. She is an ambassador for matel and also sang the theme tune for the latest barbie film. She also won the exceptionally popular show dancing on ice. She is absolutely adored by kids, especially young girls and is very popular with people of all ages throughout the UK. She is perfect for Disney… Do your research properly…
